During the 1st few weeks of life, almost all tigers need a feeding every 2-3 hours 24/7. As they get older, the interval between feedings increases. At around 3 months, bits of ground meat are introduced very gradually into the milk.
Tigers cannot tolerate sudden changes in their diet. In captivity, their reaction to the addition of meat should be monitored all the time. In the wild, the mother knows instictively the proportion of milk to meat as her cubs get stronger.
Doesn't he make you smile?
